"For many years I've developed a passion for collecting beautiful handcrafted silver jewelry and unique semiprecious stones that come from my homeland, the Dominican Republic. As I wore these items, I received many complements from my friends and colleagues about the uniqueness and beauty of the jewelry. Often I was asked to bring some of the jewelry for them. Now I design many of my own unique pieces. I enjoy sharing them with you!"

D'Caribbean Gifts was formed in 1998 by Dulce Isalguez Parker, a cultural educator and a native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She has been promoting the Caribbean culture for many years in the Dallas, Texas area. As she traveled around the world and collected many pieces of fine pieces jewelry, she discovered that her small Caribbean island had "hidden treasures" of unique semiprecious stones valued by tourists for their natural beauty.

Often these beautiful semiprecious stones were not worn by the local people. Dulce uses her jewelry and arts & crafts display as a way to educate and to share her cultural heritage around the community. She takes great pride in teaching about her beautiful Caribbean island and its treasures.
